PCHELA Soacial Enterprise Film

People can learn from bees. Apart from being a metaphor for hardworking, bees exemplify a well organized harmonious society where every member works for a common goal. Bee project Phela (Пчела) started 2010 in Hayredin Municipality - the region with the highest unemployment in Bulgaria. The project has a goal to provide opportunities for professional qualification and to encourage the full inclusion of the Roma in the local community by creating jobs. People from the vulnerable groups are learning the beekeeper’s craft.
