Hello my fellow steemians. I hope the New Year is treating us all well. Here is my diary for 01-01-2022.

New Year's Day Diary

The day began with all of us standing outside in view of the fireworks. It was midnight, the night was cold and dreary but Al spirits were high as you could hear the new year joy spreading around through everyone. People made all sorts of noises to commemorate the day. One of our neighbours even made some knockouts. It was so loud.

And while all this was going on, my hands were in my hair as I had stretched just half of my hair. As soon as we were done outside, I went back in and finished stretching my hair with the blow dryer. Everybody then went to bed.

Soon, it was morning and I woke up from the bed. I thanked God for the New Year and immediately dashed out to do my chores. I did all I had to do and rushed to take my bath after. I then dressed up, unbraided my stretched hair, and did my makeup. With that, I climbed a bike straight to church.

It should be noted that this morning, I woke up with an uncomfortable feeling in my throat though I ignored it. But while in church, it seems being exposed to all the dust along the road made it worse. I tried to contain it. But there came a time when I couldn't breathe no matter what I did. And it just happened to be during the sermon.

With tears running down my eyes from the pain, I rushed out and so everything. Finally, I was able to alleviate my throat of that horrible feeling. I went back in and continued the service. When it was over, they shares to us some packages with chewable inside by a family for Thanksgiving.

Back at home, we then as a family shared two bottles of wine and drank together. And of course we took a lot of pictures too.

I then went to visit a neighbour I hadn't seen in a while. While there, I helped myself to some yam.

Then I came back home and stayed on my phone. My cold was getting worse with each passing moment so I put on some socks and a pullover, and reached tv while munching only chewable.
