God reminds us that... #52
1 Patiently I waited for Jehovah, And he bowed down to me, and he heard my cry.
2 And he brought me out of the pit of despair, out of the muddy mud; He put my feet on a rock, and straightened my steps.
3 Then he put a new song in my mouth, praise to our God. Many will see this, and they will fear, And they will trust in Jehovah.
4 Blessed is the man who put his trust in Jehovah, And he does not look at the proud, nor at those who deviate from the lie.
5 You have increased your wonders, O LORD my God; And your thoughts to us, It is not possible to count them before you. If I announce and talk about them, They can not be listed.
6 Sacrifice and offering you do not like; You have opened my ears; Holocaust and expiation you have not sued.
7 Then said I, Behold, I come; In the scroll of the book it is written of me;
8 The doing of your will, my God, has pleased me, And your law is in the middle of my heart.
9 I have announced justice in a great congregation; Behold, I did not restrain my lips, Jehovah, you know it.
10 I did not conceal your justice within my heart; I have published your fidelity and your salvation; I have not hidden your mercy and your truth in a great assembly.
11 Lord, do not withhold my mercies from me; Your mercy and your truth always keep me.
12 For evils have surrounded me without number; My evils have reached me, and I can not look up. They have grown more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails me.
13Would you, O Jehovah, deliver me; Lord, hurry to help me.
14 Be ashamed and confused Those who seek my life to destroy it. Go back and averg: get over Those that my evil desire;
15 Be laid waste in payment of your insult Those who tell me:! Ea, ea!
16 Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you, And let those who love your salvation always say: Jehovah be exalted.
17 Though afflicted me and needy, Jehovah will think of me. My help and my liberator are you; My God, do not delay.
