Let's go shopping for an order

Today is Thursday. Even though it's a week day, there was no school today because of the fuel crisis in the country. So today is a holiday, so I used it for my crafting work.

These days I don't even get a chance to go to Galle like I used to because of the fuel crisis in the country. Due to the lack of fuel, transport facilities are in very poor condition. These days, the city was quite crowded because the Australia vs Sri Lanka cricket match was being held at the Galle Samanala Stadium. But there were not many vehicles.

I first went to buy a women's watch for my order. Normally, there are more watch shops on the main street in Galle town. So I first went to a shop. I didn't like the watches there, so I went to another shop nearby. In that shop, I could see many beautiful and high-quality watches.

There were watches of different models, like silver watches, gold watches, rose gold watches, leather belt watches, and at different prices. But for all the watches, the prices had increased more than before. Finally, I chose this watch. It cost me 3950 rupees.

Today started with a little rain. At the same time, there was a wind. The wind was strong, so I quickly went back to town to buy the rest of the supplies. Next, I wanted to buy chocolate. I used to buy imported chocolates for my orders from duty-free shops. It was a big advantage for me as well as for the customer who gets my service. Because we can buy that chocolate there at a much lower price than the market price. But with the current situation in the country, it is difficult to buy like that. Also, due to the new taxes, the price of everything imported has increased tremendously.

Then, I went to the pink arcade. There were not as many chocolates as I expected. But I finally bought some chocolates such as Cadbury, Toblerone, Kitkat, Toren, and Ferror in the quantities I wanted. The price of all these chocolates had increased by 40% compared to before.

The customer who placed the order gave me full freedom to choose the gifts he wanted from the money he gave me. So I chose chocolates from the types of chocolates I have tasted before. Because then I'll know how they taste.

Among them, there was another chocolate that I liked. It is a chocolate ball pack like the Ferror brand. There were 25 chocolate balls. It is Rs. 5750/=. I could not buy it because it was too expensive.

Next, I bought a bottle of Green Olive, which cost me 995 rupees. If you come to this pink arcade, you can buy many other delicious foods such as nutella, pringles, and peanut butter.

Next, I went to the upstairs of the pink arcade to buy a teddy bear. That floor is like a really beautiful world. So I will tell you about the rest of my shopping journey in the next post.
