After two months...

Today I had the opportunity to put a post on steemit after a vacation of about two months. I have been very busy and a little stressed in the last few weeks because of the university exam and my new job. So that's why I could not share my experiences with you.

So, last month, a beautiful wish I had hoped for a long time came true. It has been my dream for many years to enter the teaching profession. Due to the COVID situation in the country in the past two years, our appointment was delayed for about a year. That's why we had to stay home for a long time. Finally, we were given appointments on the 4th of May at Dakshinapaya, Galle.

So I got my first appointment at G/Kotawela Kanishta Vidyalaya. It's a bit of a rural school.So, I have to spend more time on transportation. This school is located in the Karandeniya area. Actually, although it is a rural village, it is a beautiful area.

So the first day I went to school with Kalana, because none of us knew exactly where the school was. The school was about 25km from home. So it took me about 40 minutes by motorcycle to get from home to school. Kotawela is really a beautiful village. As I entered the school, I was reminded of the teledrama "Iskole", which is telecast on Derana TV. I was very eager to get an appointment at a village school. So that wish came true as I wished.

So when I started working in school, I had the first year final exam at the university. This time the subjects were economics, society and culture, communication media, social harmony, and English. The exam held for 3 weeks, and I even had to stop my crafting because I had a little time to do my studies. Anyway, finally, the time I was under a bit of pressure ended yesterday.

Meanwhile, I did not forget to visit our temple's annual Poson Perahera. It was a great pleasure to have Randula and her younger brother join us to visit the perahera this time. Because the perahera was held after a few years, a large crowd had gathered to watch it.

The first thing I did after the exam was to clean my room and my table because it was untidy. After that, I was able to get involved in my mother's farming activities. It was a big change, as well as a relief to the stressed mind that had been stuck with work for weeks.
