Steemit question
Hi all,
Have a couple of questions here..regarding Steemit:
•Why has my earnings actually gone down for some posts ? I thought they could only go up..
•How do I actually make more earn more via Steem? I would like to make several hundred Steems per post.
Expert opinion anybody?

To elaborate a bit on some of the other answers:
The value of the post will fluctuate until the 7th day when it pays out. This happens not only because of the price of STEEM changing, but also because the votes you receive represent a portion of the rewards pool. Your estimated payout on your post is a representation of what percentage of the overall rewards pool your post has received.
As for earning more on Steem, it just takes time and effort. There's no switch you can flip to earn hundreds of Steem per post, you just need followers and readers of your content, which slowly builds up over time.

LOL but so many people out there believe STEEMPOWER IS that switch! And I cant blame steemiters out there for advertising how great stempower is....and you cant deny that a large amount f steempower CAN directly and indirectly gain you more steem on curation and comments but also just the fact that youre going around upvoting peoples posts and leaving comments, like @thejohalfiles who has over 1 million dollars worth of steem, when u look at the path of creation and wealth he leaves, its incredible! each of his upvotes are something like 4 to 10 dollars ! he can make the difference between what feels like wining and loosing here o steemit! whenhe upvoted my posts I actuallly started making enough money to justify my fulltime attention of steemit! And everyone who figures out how thejohalfiles is a steemit whale that is helping them, they end up gooing to his profile, seeing how he has ZERO posts, and they think WOW you can get that rich off steemit with just steempower, comments and upvoting?" and thats what made ME go all steempower! now i put as much as i can into steempower! with only a few dollars a day being syphoned out towards buying altcoins and bitcoin...but ii use steemit as like a backup crypto account..i know that even if poloniex ran away with my money AND bittrex AND i somehow lost all my cold storage wallets, i would STIll have steemit!
and so yeah steempower ISNT that magical switch HOWEVER it CAN be if you have enough steempower to ake a real difference in alot of users posts! and you can get alot of new users to become fans of yours! which will in turnget you more steem asthose fans become richer and richer! one ay one of the people you believed inwith an upvote might end up having more steempower than you and so there you go! steempower CAn become that switch if you use it correctlly!
and if you just see steempower as a way to invest in crypto longterm, the steemit becomes a great investment! espcialy with the price of steem maintaning!
as long as we dont see the price of steem go from 4 to 1 again, then we should see a steady growth inusers IF we can have the capacity!
i am wondering....could steemit.com reirect new users to another steem blockchain singup form? IS THERE another way to singup for steemit without using steemit.com???
Like how u have chainBB or how that russian guy has golos or zappl, can we make our OWN steemit account creatiion without going through steemit.com i know that anyone can create a steem wallet. but how does THAT work???
Now I spend more hours per day here than even youtube, and my web historian charts prove that! which was a huge deal sice youtube was like television for e and i was spening over 8 hour a day onit and now steemit has replaced it! as steemit also has youtube inide of it in a way!
Your earnings have gone down because the value of STEEM has gone down. It's just fluctuating, everyones went down slightly
To make hundreds of steem, make great posts that people really like. It may take a while to gain a following though, dont expect quick results.

Hello roshania! It's that people can take away their upvote if they want. It doesn't happen often. To make more on Steemit start networking and commenting on more posts. Make friends with all the new people and all the users that make 10 or more dollars a post. Good luck!

ITS OK the price of steem has simply gonee down! we were around $1.20 per steem ad it droped down to 90 cents per steem...we are back up around $90 cents to $1 per steem tho!
just wait untill we get to $2 per steem! alll your posts will DOUBLE in value! (and if u have the steem still saved up or in steem power it will also double! just keep as much steem as u can! dont cash oit! dont power down! i ended up aking like $20 a day after i sttarted powering up and commentng and being active! and upvoting others! My upvotog mad eme a lot of friends which made me alot of steem!
and now i am resteeming YOUR content like your shpinx post! i would LOVE tpo see posts of the Great Pyramids with original photos taken y you!
anyway dont worry! the prce of steem flucttuates up and down and the value of your posts may change up and dow with it!
the BEST thing you can do, is simply keep postinga nd earning! i found my self staying at the same total account value as I kept posting and earning more money to make up even for the price of steem dropping invalue!
just keep working! and post HIGh quality posts like u are doing but ad even more text and images!
dont worry we ALL see the money onour posts rop as the price of steem goes down! its ok it will go back up!
on day steem will be at $10 then $100 per steem! and our posts will be woeth 100 times as much! so start saving as much steem and steempower as you can no!
and steempower really is valuable! i know a guy @thejohalfiles go check out his wallet he has over 1.3 milliondollafrs n steem and he has ZERO posts he ONLY comments and upvotes and he still makes 2 to 4 thousand dollar in steem every onth like a paycheck!
