Steemhomework for the week! /Nikola Tesla
Nikola Tesla the scientist who illuminated the world
In 1885 he argued that he could design the engines and generators of Edison improving their quality and performance. In 1888, his first design of the practical system to generate and transmit alternating current for the electric power system took place.
"Everything I invent works as I have imagined it, the experimentation takes place as planned."
After his demonstration of wireless communication by means of radio waves in 1894, and after his victory in the war of the currents, he was widely recognized as one of the greatest electrical engineers in the United States of America.
In 1899, Tesla retreats to the Colorado Springs mountains to experiment with electromagnetic waves. It builds a high-voltage, high-altitude laboratory that surrounds the largest Tesla coil in the world.
In addition to his work in electromagnetism and electromechanical engineering, Tesla's work later served in varying degrees to the development of robotics, remote control, radar, computer science, ballistics, nuclear physics, 9 and theoretical physics.
The radar is the basic instrument of defense in all the modern countries of the world.
Tesla discovers the radar principle in 1900, sets it up and, despite his financial problems, publishes the principles of what will become, almost three decades later, on the radar.
It works like the ultrasound of bats: it sends a concentrated beam of a current of tiny electric charges vibrating at a very large frequency, so that it bounces on the target, then the beam is received again and, after analyzing it, an image is obtained Of the objective.
Decorations of Tesla
He received numerous academic distinctions from American and other universities during his lifetime:
The medal John Scott
The Edison medal, considered the greatest recognition in the electric field
Numerous awards granted by European governments
But it will not be until 1975 that his name will become part of the pantheon of American inventors.
Nikola Tesla worked throughout his life for science, for the advancement of knowledge and techniques. His whole life was devoted to the study of electricity and magnetism, as well as its possible applications that are largely used in our modern society.
In his death, messages came from all over the world, deploring the loss of a great genius. Three laureates with the Nobel Prize, Millikan, Compton, and James Frank, gave him one last tribute:
It is difficult to find another man whose visions and inventions have had as many direct repercussions as those of Nikola Tesla on the lifestyle of all the populations of the industrialized countries.
As well said B.A. Behrend, president of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers:
"If we should take and eliminate from our industrial world the results of Mr. Tesla's work, the wheels of industry would stop, the trains would be immobilized, our cities would be left in the shadows and our factories would die [...] His name marks a time in the advancement of electrical science. A revolution arises from this work ... »

Thank you companion steemians..
My curiosity you want to visit my blog awaiting for me..
Scientist sure change the world! Never heard of him before. Your article is nicely written. I should learn to write my articles in that way.
