Children when they are small have the ability to be surprised by any new external stimulus, that is; They are like sponges that learn from every experience they live.
Taking our students on a field trip to a contact farm is the ideal experience for them to discover for themselves the natural environment, the animals and plants that surround them, their care, etc.
Today, although it seems unimaginable, there are children who live in large cities that have never visited the countryside. They grow without leaving their urban surroundings and therefore, often they do not know the origin of the animals that they consume, that is to say; they do not come into contact with their environment (animals, plants, etc.).
Dear teachers, if we leave our comfort zone, from the four walls of the classroom and we venture with our students to live unforgettable experiences ......
The mere fact of going by bus will be a great achievement for our children, they will surely look at the landscape, narrating everything they see and what they imagine.
We work habits such as behaving according to some guidelines to get on / off the bus and to carry out the workshops and the different activities of the farm, always in accordance with the guidelines of coexistence and personal autonomy.

Farms for children encourage observation
Children become the protagonists of their own learning. It does not affect the reading of a book in the same way as the experience itself or the direct contact with animals and plants. This educational resource motivates them to browse, observe and discover every movement of the animals and I can even feed them on their own.

Activities such as sowing, cultivating and caring for plants allow them to get in touch with nature and develop a respect for it. These values of respect or affection to the environment are preferable to establish them from an early age since children are open to any external stimulus.

It's so difficult to fathom that there are kids who have yet to touch an animal, or run free in the countryside, breathing in fresh air! I have no idea what it is like to live in a huge city, but I think I am happier here almost in the middle of nowhere. This seems like such an awesome adventure, animals have a way of warming hearts and putting smiles on children's faces :)
beautiful what you said, and you have all the reason in what you say, we live in the city a few hours we can see farms with animals, my little daughter of two years her eyes light up when she sees a cow a lamb and that excites me Much to me too, Mommy says I want to touch the animals. I would like to have more time to take her to feel nature.
