MATERNITY WITH PURPOSE # 1: How do you live your motherhood?

I tell you, when I find out that I was pregnant with my daughter Amber Sofia, who is 2 years old today, I decided to study everything related to care, food and strategies for learning in her first years of life, I came across many activities that encourage Early stimulation of the baby; Although at that time I did not have the phrase "Motherhood with Purpose" in mind, I knew that my task as a mother would be a huge responsibility without a doubt.

Bringing a child to the world involves many things ....
... Not only do they need us for their care, warmth and food needs to be perfectly covered, but they also need the love and emotional stability we could give to that beautiful being.

The connection we have with our children will determine their healthy mental and emotional growth.
With my daughter I have had countless experiences and learning these 2 years have been of constant changes, "she does not learn as much from me as I learn from her," neither she nor I are the same as a year ago. The connection that I have with my daughter nourishes me of strengths that I did not know that was in me, it is a complicity that makes us grow together.

I understood that children are much more than just children.
They are complete and complex people, and although we do not always understand how they feel or why they feel that way, it does not make their emotions less real or less important. A "Motherhood with purpose" is to be aware that our children come with a purpose and we must respect them as individuals, guiding them to their own destiny, forging their character, to know themselves and develop all their qualities.

I take care of my daughter to 100% I can not say that it has been an easy stage, I am a lawyer graduated and at this moment I decided to change my professional race for the race to be a mother and to be present at 100% in the first years of my life Daughter, who has been difficult for me, if I confess, I felt stagnant as a woman.

Many moms leave things aside to dedicate themselves to their children and that can beat their emotions their self-esteem, it is normal that we leave our own interests but it is not acceptable to abandon our dreams, to forget us as women, let alone to think that a child is a Impediment to grow and be proactive, we must keep in mind that if we are happy and feel good about the role we are playing, our children will be happy too.

God made me understand that every stage of our lives we must live them to the fullest because they will surely not come back, and we decide, whether to live them grateful and happy or to live them with complaints denying the stages.

I know that being mothers is not having a book in your hands that guides you ...
Each mom lives experiences with her unique children that are full of learning, but also that informing us and educating us will help us to make the way lighter and have a wider vision, to play this role with excellence.

For me a mother who exercises motherhood with purpose must bear in mind that:
• Your motherhood is a gift from God.
• To be a mother is to be a model.
• Whatever you do, whatever you say will mark your children.
• You must help him fulfill the purpose for which he was created.
• You will shape your character.
• Understand that from a very young age they have abilities and qualities that only you can help develop.
• Do not allow yourself to miss the first few months of learning.
• Give firm roots to your child and keep him or her ill, whenever necessary.

And last but not least;

• Your child will eat from your decisions.
