Managing Stress and Listen to Your Body.

I'm back! I have taken a long 'holiday' from expressing my creativity. For the past two weeks (?), I don't feel any inspiration to write and I have not taken any photos lately.

So let's start with managing stress. You know what's funny? It doesn't matter if you are Defined Root or Undefined Root, managing stress is all about how much we listen to our body.

Stress is not bad. Not managing stress is bad.

It all started with a thunderstorm and the entire week went all busy. The entire week is full of pressure. I cannot imagine the pressure undefined root people takes in. All I know is my body feeling a deep pressure.

Here's a thing about pressure; it involves adrenaline. If you don't channel it elsewhere plus resting in between pressure; it will go inward. I knew the pressure is moving inward than outward when I start to feel sore.

This is the cue that the body needs some rest. Watching Netflix but not getting the mind resting... is not a rest. I missed the cue and a few days later, I begin to lose my appetite. That's not it. The moment I had my appetite, my stomach rebelled! I finally caught myself diarrhea and worst... nausea and vomiting!

The next day, despite the mind tells me that I can work and I can deliver; my body just doesn't give a damn anymore. I cancelled my appointments and I took a nap. I walk consciously. I enjoy my meal one bite at the time. The body says; we go slow and everything else can wait.

Funny isn't it (actually it is not funny). When we are supposed to rest and we didn't do it; the body forces us to do it by making us sick. Do we have a choice? No, we don't. We think we control the body... we are making a fool of ourselves. This is what it means by 'no choice'.

Anyway, this is how it looks like for Splenic being who missed the Splenic cue. What an experiment!

Well, I'm glowing now hehe.

I think it is going around this feeling
I was also in a funk for a few days
Just kinda dreary and a chore
I slowed down here on steemit
I needed to take stock and do it because I enjoy it not because I had to

I am so glad you are feeling better and dipping your feet in the pool again
