In this photo, you see these standing rocks shooting up in great pattern. They are all a result of erosion that comes from volcanic activity thousands of years ago. This Cappadocian land is a great site for geologists to come here to do research. They are quite fascinating to look at.

Make sure you spend some time walking some of these trails when you come to Cappadocia. It is very natural and scenic.
