Translation For Universal Media Server | Chinese Traditional 100% Translated

Contribution to the Open Source Project - Universal Media Server

Yesterday, I started translating the Universal Media Server via Crowdin. Universal Media Server is a free and open-source media server which is capable of serving videos, audio and images to any DLNA-capable device. This project is constantly updated and has more features than any other media server, including paid media servers. It streams to many devices including Sony PlayStation 3 (PS3) and PlayStation 4 (PS4), Microsoft Xbox One and 360, many TVs (Samsung, Panasonic, Sony, Vizio, LG, Philips, Sharp), smart phones (iPhone, Android, etc.), Blu-ray players, and more.

For these reasons, I believe this project is worthwhile translating and spent quite some time with the translation as there is quite a few technical words with html coding.

As you can see, this project requires some technical words specific to the Universal Media Server Project:

   Proofs of the Translation I contributed to the entire project of Universal Media Server

   Here is the record from the Universal Media Server of the translation activities I have contributed to their project in their timeline.

   There are 4 Parts to this Translation Project

   This translation project is quite extensive as there are 4 parts to complete the translation.

   1. Universal Media Server 7.0.0 Intro
   2. Universal Media Server -- Fixing Bugs
   3. Universal Media Server -- Glossary
   4. Universal Media Server - .int , ext,

   The following screen shot shows that all of these 4 Parts are completely translated to Chinese Traditional.

   

   The blue line has reached all the way to 100% meaning that all the strings of words are completed for each section and now this project is waiting for a proof reader to go through the entire project once more in order for the entire project to be fully completed.

   Inside the translation page, there are 3 columns. The bottom shows the person who is involved in this translation.

   

   -- I put a red box on my profile there in the middle column showing that I was the one translating this project
   -- the arrow shows the translation I put in
   -- the green bullets on the left side shows that all the strings have been translated for this section

   Proof that all 13 pages are translated with full completion

   This project is quite complicated because there are 4 sections that I need to translate in order to bring it to completion.

   Here is the proof of the beginning of the 13 Pages before the translation began:

   In the following screen shot, you will see that the translation has not been done yet. There are 13 pages and this screen shot shows Page 1 of 13.

   

   Notice that all the bullets there are orange meaning that I have to go through each strings of sentences one by one to translate and save.

   After each page is done, it takes you to the following pages.

   I will not show you all the individual pages but I want to show you the last page so that you see the proof that all 13 pages are completed in the translation.

   The following screen shot will show you that all 13 Pages are completed.

   

   The upper box will pop up saying that "You have reached the end of file".

   This means that all 13 Pages are completed and translation is 100% done. All bullets have turned green.
