The Londonian adventure continues through symbolic and charming places

Day 4: August 6th

We woke up very energetic in what would be our last day in London. We had to leave for Paris in the afternoon; but we still had to visit some symbolic and charming places.

First, we headed to the Royal Albert Hall Theater, in the South Kensington area of the Westminster district. It has the largest organ in England. I really wanted to visit that place, since many important artists have performed there on their international tours. Right in front, in one of the many accesses to the Hyde Park, the Albert Memorial monument could be found. I must say that it was one of my favorite visits.

Later, we went to the renowned British Museum in the Bloomsbury area. It was already known that visiting it thoroughly would take several days due to its extensive collections of artwork, one of the largest in the world. However, we seized the occasion to take a look and buy some souvenirs in the nearby stores. It was time for lunch, so we had some hamburgers before taking our baggage and heading to the station, in order to go back to France and continue our adventure. I felt very grateful for the experiences that God was allowing me to live.

With our luggage full of gifts and souvenirs, we headed to the Saint Pancras international station. We were very happy, talking about our wonderful experiences. Paris awaited us back, with more places to know.

We were already on the train back to France, and I was feeling a little nostalgic for leaving behind my beloved London, but it would last only a few minutes, because I reflected that the experiences lived in that magical city were as tattooed in my mind and nothing and nobody could ever steal or erase them, and that idea filled me with joy and motivation to continue my adventure.

End of the United Kingdom chapter. For me, London was the best!
