Steemit all the way to Africa literally?

One lesson of life I am now fairly certain about.  The world around you will change into whatever you desire it to be the moment you act upon your decision to change yourself. Steadfastly and persistently. Day in and day out.  

Looking back at how I arrived to this point, you would think the timing of each step of my journey was perfectly engineered by me in order for events to play out the way it has.  The reality is I live my life understanding each day is filled with its own blessing and I do my very best just to keep the wind at my back.  Simple? I wish. 

It was suggested that I blog about my journey thus far years ago.  Now, Steemit may have offered the final incentive I needed to do this in real time. Perhaps with your follows, resteems, and upvotes, you will literally empower me to expand my horizons, stamp my passport some more, and share the experiences.  Next stop, somewhere in west Africa.  Ghana, Senegal, and Nigeria will probably remain near the top of my list as I continue to follow the depths of my roots.  Anything is possible.  One thing is for sure, I would not want to die never having experienced my bare feet in African soil.
