510 - Titanic
Em 2012 a Royal Canadian Mint emitiu uma moeda pelo 100º aniversário do afundamento do RMS Titanic em sua viagem inaugural.
Ele partiu de Southampton em 10 de abril de 1912 em direção a Nova Iorque. No dia 14 de abril, cerca de 375 milhas (600 km) ao sul de Newfoundland, ele bateu num icebergue às 23:40h, hora do navio.
Dos estimados 2.224 passageiros e tripulação a bordo, mais de 1.500 morreram, fazendo deste um dos desastres marinhos com mais mortes na história moderna.
A moeda é um 2012 $10 CAD pesando 15,87g (0,51oz) com 99,99% de pureza de prata e acabamento Proof.
O reverso mostra o navio, o icebergue e o local do desastre.
O obverso mostra a efígie da Rainha Elisabete II desenhada por Susanna Blunt.
