# 227 - 2016 Olympic Games
Today I will show a series of commemorative coins issued by the Casa da Moeda (Brazil's Mint) in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
They commemorate the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Those are circulating coins and I found them in my pockets, along these three years.
They are bi-metallic stainless steel center in bronze plated steel ring, weighting 7 g. Their nominal value is R$1,00 (one real).
The first one is the Olympic Mascot.
The second is Paralympic Swimming and the third is Boxing.
Their mintage was around 20,000,000 each.
This series will continue very soon.

I have a few of these coins. It is a beautiful series.
You found them all in your change.
I like those! What a neat idea.
Common coins, high mintage, good idea. Thank you for the visit.
