Only a few years after the launch of Project Tiger Campaign, there has been a huge increase in the number of tigers in India. According to the 1993 census of tigers, the total number of tigers in the country was approximately 3,750. Under the Project Tiger, nearly 23 conservation centers (in the area of ​​33,406 sq. Km) were established in the entire country.
