ENVIANDO PREMIOS A VARIOS PAÍSES! SENDING PRIZES TO VARIOUS COUNTRIES!

the day before yesterday I finally got to the post office once I had all the addresses and envelopes prepared.
I was lucky that the painting that was supposed to go to Venezuela to the first winner @jesuspsoto, decided to give me the address of his daughter who lives in Spain.
Through the email correspondence with most of the winners of Venezuela I got the impression they felt it might be tricky to get the envelopes sent off.... and yes! rightly so! First barrier I found was at the post office, then I went to ask at the MRW private postal service and they also said that the postal service is temporarily closed.
So, yesterday, I finally got to talk to a friend of a friend who is from Venezuela and I asked her how did she send things to her family. She told me there is only one agency she know about in Spain that operates from Madrid. Agencia Tricolor.
I phoned them this morning to see how much it would cost me to send them and we worked out that at least 25€ for each small envelope. I really find this much too expensive. I think I have to just wait a bit and keep the envelopes at home and see if it might change soon or I can find another way to send them. Any ideas? Of course the people from Venezuela were all in the same city it could be possible to send all at one address but this isn´t the case either! So frustrating! I´m sorry.I´ll try to work out a solution.

anteayer por fin llegué a la oficina de correos una vez que tenía todas las direcciones y sobres preparados.
Tuve la suerte de que el cuadro que debía ir a Venezuela al primer ganador @jesuspsoto, decidió darme la dirección de su hija que vive en España.
A través de la correspondencia por correo electrónico con la mayoría de los ganadores de Venezuela me dio la impresión de que consideraban que podría ser complicado el envío del extranjero .... y sí! efectivamente ! La primera barrera que encontré fue en la oficina de correos, luego fui a preguntar en el servicio postal privado de MRW y también me dijeron que el servicio postal está cerrado temporalmente.
Así que ayer por fin, pude hablar con una amiga de una amiga que es de Venezuela y le pregunté cómo hacía para enviar cosas a su familia. Me dijo que sólo hay una agencia que conoce en España que opera desde Madrid. La Agencia Tricolor.
Les he llamado esta mañana para ver cuánto me costaría enviarles y hemos calculado que al menos 25€ por cada sobre pequeño. Realmente me parece demasiado caro. Creo que tengo que esperar un poco y guardar los sobres en casa y ver si puede cambiar pronto o puedo encontrar otra forma de enviarlos. ¿Alguna idea? ¡Por supuesto la gente de Venezuela estaba toda en la misma ciudad podría ser posible enviar todo en una dirección pero tampoco es el caso! ¡Es tan frustrante! Lo siento. Intentaré buscar una solución.

One packet to Turkey, another to Uganda, two to Nigeria and one to Spain

It's so sad that even basics like postal service in some places don't operate the way they should. And €25 for a small envelope is a rip off, too.
yes, well, we are working out other ways for some, hoping to fix it for the remaining two I haven´t been able to send off yet!
Estoy muy contenta de haber encontrado una solución para uno de los ganadores de Venezuela que me acaba de enviar la dirección de una amiga suya en Madrid que tiene que hacer un envío grande por barco, tardará más pero llegará! Si alguno de vosotros conoce a alguien en España que viaje a pasar la navidad a vuestra ciudad se lo puedo enviar por correo a cualquier punto de España para que se lo puedan llevar cuando viajen a Venezuela. Es otra solución posible!
