Book Review: Fixing Sydney

Check out the highlights on our official review of FIXING SYDNEY by Diane Zparkki!
- an emotional rollercoaster for me and one that I don't regret because it was a fabulous read.
- Chapter 1 opens with Sydney reminiscing about her life.
- Ms. Zparkki does an amazing job world building as she introduces us to the different characters that will make up this trilogy from both Sydney's and Jaxon's points of view.
- Some of the analogies had me snorting in response. One that has stayed with me was Sydney describing her mom as 'calm as a Hindu cow'. It's perfect.
- I also liked the use of music in the story. Especially at the wedding.
- Jaxon is marvelous as the male lead and I really liked his inner thoughts as he came to grips with 'giving [himself] permission to have a fresh start'. Oh, and I loved how he was instantly gobsmacked by Sydney.
- And many will disagree given the number of characters in this story, which were developed incredibly well, but I did find it a bit too long.
