Seems you always JUST make it with your rolls. A better ranged weapon would be handy about now. I'm seriously considering making the next game a competition where players can win a permanent weapon for future games. Not sure if that would make it less inviting for new players to join games where seasoned players start with good gear.

It definitely feels that way... except when I roll 3 2s and then fail my balance check on a 5, haha.
