Fractional gold
When I started collecting golden coins, I regularly bought these fractional gold coins:
1/10 ounce Krugerrand, Maple Leaf, Nugget and Liberty
Was it a good investment?
The answer is simple: No! Due to the high premiums of upto 17%, these coins are way to expensive.
My suggestion if you want to buy fractional gold coins, buy 19th and early 20th century European golden coins, which trade against a premium between 2 an 3%.
Besides that, these coins represent a piece of history and are much nicer to look at. The only thing is that they are not 999 gold, but more often 21.6 - 22 carats of gold.
However I keep my fractional bullion coins because they fit my coin collection.
Enjoy!

Those are nice, I don't have any fractionals except a quarter ounce eagle.
