Netflix's Bright Sequel
I wrote a review on Netflix's Bright movie here: https://steemit.com/entertainment/@rodznocturne/netflix-s-bright-review 5 days ago. This movie received a lot of bad reviews most probably because of its concept. Even my review on it doesn't received much upvotes LOL! - Kidding!
Because of that I decided to watch it myself and I found out that it wasn't all that bad, except that I really wish that it was a series not a movie.

In that review I said that those reviewers that made bad reviews about this movie might forget that this movie is in Netflix not on silver screen and people will watch it no matter what. Simply because it's a subscription based and they got nothing to lose even if it was bad, no tickets and trip to cinema required.
Netflix's Bright Official trailer
Well, guess what? Netflix's Bright is the No. 1 movie on Netflix in over 190 countries! (according to www.hollywoodreporter.com). Like I said, those bad reviews won't have much effect on this movie as the average of 11 million U.S. Netflix users streamed Bright during its first three days of release and this only form the views on tv and doesn't include those streaming from mobile devices and computer.
So, Netflix have given the sequel to this movie a bright greenlight. They confirmed the sequel will be out through the video below.
I hope that the sequel will be better and they will finally fight the Dark Lord. I can feel that it will be more interesting because the first one was just an introduction to the movie. I really wish they made it into a series because that way the story will be longer and more detail but I guess we have to settle for the movie instead. It's good enough that they decided to make its sequel because the story seems incomplete in the first one.
So will you be watching this Netflix's Bright now? I guess you have to if you planned to watch the sequel. :)
Good Job Fri...
Hey @rodznocturne . I just watched the movie last night. It was so-so only but it did got a big marketing budget didn't it?
I'm not sure a sequel would be any good too... But hmm.. let's see.. I may do a review soon.
It wasn't very good but not as bad as those bad reviews said hahaha not sure about the marketing budget but Netflix spent $90 millions on the first one. Logically they doesn't have to do much marketing because they already have millions of subscribers, eventually they will watch it hahaha
I have the same thought too about the sequel but on a flip side, they need to do the sequel because the first one seems incomplete. Lets see how it will be, hopefully it will be far better.
