ELEPHANT FESTIVAL OF THE KAJIRANGA NATIONAL PARK
Hello steemians , hope all are doing well,happy as SBD market somehow able to increase from few days, whatever may be, stay blissful and enjoy a every single day of our life with a greater updated version than before.
Friends,whenever a festival comes in,specially we the Indians become very exiting to welcome the festival warmly- forgetting all the rest things(I think this is also same for other countries,as i don't get a chance to attend celebrate the festivals of other countries 😊).Here today I am going to share about the Elephant festival that will be held by Assam government in the month of february.If you are a wildlife lover ,you can attend the festival here in Assam and enjoy the natural beauty of the kaziranga national park too.
Festivals are celebrated for various reasons- religious ,cultural, seasonal ,harvest festival etc.some are for the conservation of wildlife (which is now a serious matter requiring grave concern of the people of the world over.), spreading awarenesses among people and also for agglomerating people who are so busy in their own world struggling for a sophisticated livelihood -get a chance to know about the people dwelling there and exchange of knowledge too.
The rate at which our environment get degraded is an issue of serious concern.species face extinction ,ecosystems aren't in optimum condition .To maintain this problem a balance should be maintained between environment and species reside there.otherwise, in future there will be a condition in which we the human species will also face extinction.Now let me bring you to the elephant festival of kaziranga that has been celebrating in kaziranga,Assam since 2003

Assam is a north-eastern state in India, known for its wildlife,archeological sites and tea plantation.

Kaziranga is a national park in Assam which is protected area spread across the flood plains of Brahmaputra river.Its forests, wetlands and grasslands are home to tigers,elephant and the world's largest population of Indian one-horned rhinoceroses

THE MAIN FESTIVAL OF KAZIRANGA THE ELEPHANT FESTIVAL
This popular festival is held in the kaziranga national park since 2003 from 14th february to 17th february.This festival is mainly celebrate to encourage people to save and conserve elephants.Elephant- human conflict is a result of habitat loss and fragmentation.when elephants and human interact , there is conflict from crop raiding, injuries and death to humans caused by elephants, and elephant being killed by humans for reasons other than ivory and habitat degradation
This festival is a major crowd attractor.The government of Assam hosts annual elephant festival .There are 300 elephants who attended the festival.
Elephant festival also celebrate to increase eco-tourism amongst human beings .The festival also intended to raise awarenesses about the elephant's struggle for all kinds of limited resources with humans.
Thousands of tourists come here to witness this fantastic kaziranga elephant festival.It is very delightful to see this massive creature following all instruction from his master.
