There are certainly situations where cannabis is the better option over pharmaceuticals, but I think it's important to not vilify either side of this topic. Sure, big pharma tend to be repulsive in their business practices most of the time, but this doesn't mean there aren't any cases when the prescription drugs would be the better choice than marijuana. Nothing is a silver bullet.
Indeed, some drugs are a benefit, I was more talking about in general though ;)
I see. I just think it's an important hedge to the points made in the post. I do not disagree on the whole, I just don't want the argument to be taken to an extreme (and I'm not even alleging that it has).
