A little update on Rhythm!
She loves going for rides and looking out the window. There are still a few manners that she needs to learn, and boy does she chew, but she is definitely getting better! I've even taught her a few tricks, like high five, shake, and sit pretty. I have noticed that her color is changing a bit... She was mostly brown with some white when we got her a month ago and now she is getting some light patches on her neck and back, and also some of the brown is turning black down her spine! I can't wait to see what her patterns will turn out looking like! She is fast becoming my best friend and teaching me a level of patience I had long since forgotten. ;)
The oldest dog on record was an Australian cattle dog named Bluey who lived 29 years and 5 months. In human years, that is more than 160 years old.
The husky/ shepard mix is usually a really good mix in a dog. They're usually more intelligent than the average dog, and the shepard part usually makes them a loyal dog.
She is incredibly smart! I just wish I had the knowledge to train her the best that she could get because she'd ace it all! She learned tricks in less then a week, and actually remembers them later on... This is the first puppy I've ever had, I've usually gotten strays or shelter dogs, so it's my first time training a pup... haha! But she is definitely making it easier.
WHat a cutie pup!! I want to get a husky cross-breed too! My baby girl just luuuuuurves dogs!!! So we are super keen! Where did you get Rhythm?
A friend had gotten Rhythm for her autistic son but they didn't mesh well, so she re-homed her to me! I love huskies too! They are so energetic!!!! Haha! And... if we ever get some snow, she can pull us around on a sled! ;)
Wow! Lucky you!
It was meant to be!
