Kid Learns Life Lesson

The tamarind tree is a very peculiar tree. Once you plant it, it can take up to 20 years (or longer!) before you can collect any fruit.

Somewhere in South America, an old man is planting tamarind seeds in one of the sides of his farm. His grandson, a small kid, knows how long the tamarind takes to grow, and thus approaches his grandpa:

"Grandpa, why do you plant tamarind trees? You will not live long enough to collect anything!"

Then the grandpa stares at his grandson, puts a hand over the kids shoulder, and looks at him with wise eyes, with all the wisdom an old man can display, and replies to his grandson:

"What the fuck do you care? This is my farm! I plant wathever the fuck I want! Now... scram!"
