A SpaceX rocket recycling departed yesterday with 10 satellites, leaving behind a trail of bright that caused surprise and fascination.

The sighting of the Appliance Log on the airspace of California and Arizona, as well as in Sonora, Baja California and Baja California Sur, Mexico.

The Falcon 9 rocket booster took off from Vandenberg Air Force Base shortly after 5:30 in the afternoon, bringing with them the latest series of satellites for Iridium Communications.

The launch during the sunset created a bright blur that gender confusion and concern among the people of Southern California and even in more distant cities such as Phoenix.

The tv stations received phone calls including in San Diego, more than 321 kilometers (200 miles) south of the launch site.



The Los Angeles Fire Department issued a notice that the "mysterious light in the sky" was due to the launch of the rocket.

The same booster rocket launched into orbit Iridium satellites in June, after which landed on a platform in the Pacific Ocean. On this occasion was allowed to collapse into the sea.

It is the 18th and last launch of 2017 carried out by SpaceX, which has a contract to replace the Iridium system with 75 new satellites. SpaceX has made four releases for this purpose, and expects to make several more in order to complete the task in mid 2018.
