Committing current events info to a blockchain.

Tonight, August 17th, 2016 at about 7:50 pm EST, while I was driving north on the Boulevard in Mountain Lakes, NJ, I witnessed a single fighter jet flying in an eastwardly direction at relatively low altitude and speed. As I viewed it through the sunroof of my 2002 Jetta I was looking directly up and saw the shape of the jet clearly against a the sky. The shape was clearly visible as the sun had not completely set yet. My attention was drawn by the volume of the engines as it flew overhead and at looking up I recognized it to be the general shape of either an F-16 or F-22. I did not hear or see any other aircraft in the vicinity, and a single aircraft of this type flying in this area is very unusual.

I'm not trying to start any conspiracies or cause anyone to fear, but the last time the government came out saying the military lost track of a few trillion dollars was on September 10th, 2001. I just want to make sure this was said and documented in a non-destructable way in case something happens. Hopefully I'm just a bit paranoid.

Edit: Just as evidence to how bright it still was and how easy it was to see the aircraft, this image was taken within two minutes before the sighting. The timestamp on the image from my iPhone shows 7:52 PM.
