Weird little details

Hi human friends! This is just a shot of a weird little detail, one of many in the big wide world. It is also, kinda mundane...

This is a reminder that we can often find intrigue, and even beauty in the little details of the world. As a VERY amateur photographer, who has only been at it for a few years, macro shots are usually where my interest lies. It is only when we examine things up close that we can see their full potential.

This could perhaps be viewed as a metaphor for you humans and your fascinating species. For it is only when we get up close and truly examine them, that we can attempt to understand them, and only then can we see the full potential of a person.

So what the hell is this thing? I'm not so sure, but for some bizarre reason, I had to take a picture of it...
