Space, time, and perspective.steemCreated with Sketch.

It has been speculated that our known universe is subject to one point of reference on a sliding scale, and would appear quite differently from an exterior point!

Since space and time are interconnected, that means that an observer outside of our "bubble" would surely experience time at a different rate. In fact, if viewed from a perspective that is outside of our point of reference, time might function in ways that we can't even predict.

Imagine for a moment that things were scaled down to the quantum level. Much is yet to be understood when dealing with this ridiculously small level of existence. On that level, space and time might scale accordingly, but would still be comparable to our current scale of space/time. It would simply be a matter of perspective!

Basically, I am saying that on a very tiny level, far smaller than we could currently measure, entire universes may exist within our own bodies. To us, they would appear to function at vastly different rates, but to anything inhabiting that level, time would appear to flow normally.

If this were so, each one of us would be as what we perceive to be gods, or godlike. Not only would we exist on a scale that is incomprehensible to those tiny quantum people, but an astronomical number of parallel universes could inhabit the space that one single human would occupy on our current scale.

The tiny people of those universes would think that we are gods, that is, if they could even conceive of our existence. Now, imagine that everything we know fits nicely into a single cell of one cosmic sized being. That would be god to us, right?

Well what if it was a never-ending scale? What if that god were nothing more than a single being, just one of many who inhabited a much larger scale of existence? What if there is a truly infinite number of parallel universes, on an infinite number of scales, going in both directions towards the infinitely small, and the infinitely large?

I really love this post.

I was literally thinking about the exact same thing yesterday. I was concerned that if I'm the godlike being that all the universes in my cells are creating together, then I might also be part of a cell in a godlike being that is just as clueless as I am. It might decide to do jello shots or something and kill off the entire cosmos.

How cool would it be to communicate with these other universes and discover that we're all gods, but we're all also tiny insignificant specs in a massive multiverse?

Thanks! Ya this is the sort of stuff I think about in the shower hehe.

It remembers me of a crazy idea, that the Universe is in fact a fractal. That going to the small is the same thing as going to the far away.

I lose sleep over stuff like this :D

I like these crazy ideas, but it is so difficult to prove them right or wrong.

Ya, that doesn't matter! It's just fun to think about.

That's true

This reminds me of a scene in Men In Black where an alien is playing with a marble that held our universe. Love this post :)

Haha! Ya i kept thinking back to that marble as I was writing this :D
Thanks!
