Great Authentic Moroccan Fish Recipe
Great recipe for a traditional spicy Moroccan fish, enjoy
What Will You Need?
- 0.5 Glass canola oil
- 1 large red pepper, cuted into stripes
- 4-5 large tomatoes
- 1 Complete Garlic
- 1 Packet cliantro (without discarded)
- 1 Tbs paprika powder
- 0.5 Tbs turmeric
- 0.5 Tbs salt
- 3 dried chili peppers
- 0.5 Glass water
- 6 pices of firm white fise (not salmon)
And What To Do With All That?
- In a large deep skillet, add 1/4 cup of the canola oil and heat up for a few minutes over moderate heat. Add tomatoes and the bell pepper and cook for a few minutes. Add the garlic, then turn the heat down and continue cooking. Insert 1/4 of water, 1/2 tsp paprika, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp salt, the peppers and the cilantro and cook on, stirring occasionally, for approximately 20 minutes.
- In another bowl combine the remaining oil, paprika, turmeric, salt and cilantro. Dip each fish fillet and coat well. Add the fish fillets. Scrape on the rest of the mixture cover with a lid and cook for about 20 minutes more or until the fish is cooked. Serve each piece of fish with some pepper and sauce.
