God's Church Alive

Hello folks Robert here again.
I have researched this platform, and found people say above all,
to be yourself. So I will tell you this from the start.
I am a born again child of God.
Through Jesus Christ, God's son.
So who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus is the son of God.
Who chose to follow his father's will and plan for all mankind.
Jesus was beaten, spat upon, ridiculed even by his own people.
betrayed by one of his own disciples, for 30 pieces of silver.
But yet Jesus never did any wrong or sinned in his life.
Then he was nailed to a cruel cross.
Wow. Just think about that for a moment.
Can you just imagine how it would feel with spikes nailed in your hands and feet.
Then because he was suppose to be the king of the Jews, they gave him a crown of sharp thorns on his head.
Then they mocked him. and gamble for his clothes.
as he hung on that cross and died and again rose again to save us from our sins in 3 days.
But now you may have heard this several times in your life.
But let's look at a few things, that we might not think about.
Yes, Jesus was in pain that no one could ever comprehend.
But even through all that pain of beatings and the cross.
I believe there was a bigger pain.
His own people turned against him, and literally pronounced his death sentence.
How would you feel about that if your own people turned there backs on you.
the ones that you thought were you friends. How hurt and lonely would that make you feel.
Well then his father which is God.
Turned his back on him also, because a Holy God could not look at sin.
Because when Jesus died he was the sin of the whole world.
But before he died two things happened.
there was a true thief next to him on one side that mocked him.
But the one on the other side was a thief also, that said Jesus don't belong on that cross like them for Jesus had done no wrong.
He then turn to Jesus and said to him. would he remember him in heaven.
Jesus said to him this day shall be with me in paradise.
Then Jesus looks up toward the heavens and says
Father forgive them for they know not what they do.
Jesus said it is finished and then he died.
He then arose in 3 days and taking the keys of death and the grave away from Satan.
Now there may be a question on your mind here.
If you are not familiar to the scriptures in the Bible.
How did Jesus have the authority to tell the thief on the cross he would be in paradise with him?
Well the answer lays in the Old Testament scriptures.
Back in those days they had to sacrifice a pure and perfect lamb for there sins.
It was told by the prophets that God had a plan of sending a lamb to this world to cover sins of the people.
This lamb was God's son Jesus.
So that is where Jesus got that authority to say that.
The whole event was God's Plan, to save us from our sins.
If he had not died on the cross we all would have died in our sins with no hope.
You think about that.
