Closing my eyes to dream once more
between flowers and mountains I can observe
a place I never want to leave
fills me with peace and unparalleled calm.
The sound of the city exhausts me,
so much stress and work for nothing,
I can only survive with it,
is nothing like living.
I feel the fresh, pure wind in my face,
I see butterflies flying and others resting in flowers,
with such a short life they live the hours
me wanting to live life in seconds and with years of life.
I close my eyes again in a starry night,
and I think of those old loves of youth,
the adventures that may not come back,
but the memories that will still remain.
I dream in the depths of my thoughts,
In them you're there waiting for me,
just like I always wanted it that way.
I'd do the same thing, always waiting for you.
I feel the cold of the drops falling on my body,
the rain brings down my good thoughts,
awaken those old memories of loneliness,
when you left a long time ago.
I am already waiting for that moment,
that I shouldn't close my eyes to dream of you,
so the memories just rest,
and me by your side so I can protect you.
