Designing 101 - Recap all Episodes
The first five lessons of the Designing 101 course are online! In these first five I tried to transfer some knowledge that I have to you guys in order to be more successful here on Steemit. When I looked at the comments I was really happy that people found it interesting and really liked it! So a quick recap on all the courses!
Episode 1: Branding
How can branding, with the help of design, help you grow on Steemit? We talked about the Brand Materials and what they are. These are the ‘What’. So you can have your own logo to brand yourself! Then we talked about the Brand Traits, the ‘How’. What are the unique characteristics your brand has. Then we talked about the Brand Values, the ‘Why’. These are the values that you stand for but also the people you care about and how you interact with your followers. last but not least we talked about the Brand Promise. This is for yourself and is the redline on how you want to represent yourself.

Episode 2: Identity
In Episode 2 we talked about the (brand) identity. What is an identity and how can you recognise one? The fundamentals of the core of the Brand Identity were explained along with how to build your own brand identity! Lastly there was a real life example on how effective an (brand) identity can be!

Episode 3: Marketing
On this episode we talked about marketing and how to grow your followers. We linked back to the previous episodes because they are all linked. To really get more followers you need to define your target audience, be a curator, be honest and original and be different. Next to that I gave a few points on how to be better!

Episode 4: Advertisement
With advertisement you need to sell yourself and attract your readers. Your headline should be catchy and your call to action should be urgent! Next to that you have to offer a value to your readers.

Episode 5: Colours
Colours are an important aspect of your blog. They tell you what it’s all about and with colour you can round everything up. Do you wanna excite people? Want to come on dependable? Or do you just wanna be happy? The right colour tells you want kind of blogger you are!
