I have been here since May last year and am not good at popularity contests! I have decided to just be myself and not care about rewards or popularity....let's see how far that gets me LOL!
Well in my own way, i joined various steemit related community groups on discord, i think one can really be updated from these groups, based on what you are into, and what you are capable of. You get to learn new tricks too and hear latest steemit gossips lolz. I belong to groups on watsapp also.

I imagine the platform has changed a lot, but people like you stay up to date and make steemit better!

That's how you keep up with cool kids that's just for fun but its all about engagement here on steemit :D
