Jaisalmer Durga

Jaisalmer Durga is a purely local fort formation of architectural art in terms of architecture. This fort is situated on a 250 feet triangular hill. The length of this hill is 150 feet and width is 750 feet.

Raaval Jaisal established its independent capital. According to local sources, the construction of this fort was started in 1156 AD. But the study of contemporary evidence shows that its construction work started around 1178 AD. Raval Jasal died after a 5 year low construction work.
