My Thought on the Taskmanger Token and an Earnings Report On It

@taskmanager has done something wonderful with the taskmanager token. Its like @steembasicincome, but has some difference. I'll try to explain it as best as I can, but will also provide links to posts that he did about it so you guys can learn a lot more about it.

How does the taskmanger token work?

• You buy some taskmanger token on bitshares. Click here to go there.
• Once you acquire 50 taskmanger tokens, send a small amount of any tokens to task-manager on bitshares and in the memo, provide your steem username.
• I would recommend contacting @taskmanger somehow on the steem network to tell him that you acquired the tokens. Best way is to send 0.001 STEEM or SBD to him and tell him about it, but a comment works as well.
• Adding to the voting pool is done manually so it might take a while.
• Votes are given about 30 minutes after posting happens.
• For every 50 taskmanger tokens that you hold, you will get 1% 2% (Not 100% sure about this, ask @taskmanger about it) upvote on your posts.
• As stated in @taskmanger's post, overposting will cause you to get kicked out of the voting.

What is my opinion on it?

I love it. I currently hold 71 Taskmanger tokens. I receive 3% upvotes from @taskmanger(he must like me as stated in one of his earlier posts 😃). I bought them at 1 bitshare each and they are selling for about 2 bitshares each now. I definitely plan on buying more. @taskmanger is a very nice guy to work with and he has answered all of my questions, and he even helps me with my #upfundme goal of buying a drone.

Now to the earnings report, purely in SBD. I'm not counting the steem power earned from the upvotes that I receive because it'll be easier to do the math, and I want to only include liquid earnings in my report. I paid about 5 STEEM(after conversion fees) for the tokens. I post about once a day, going up to 2 posts a day every once in a while. I receive 0.08 in earnings from @taskmanger's vote. That minus 25% for curation is 0.06. Divide that by two to get SBD earnigns is 0.03. If we imagine the exchange rate for STEEM to SBD to be 1:1, it'll take me 166 days to get my payment back.

But in actuality, its going to be less than that long for me to get my payment back. First, I bought more than 50, so its going to take me longer to get payments back for that. Second, I'm not counting steem power earnings, so thats going to lessen the amount of time to get your investment back. Third, you can sell the tokens for a profit as well, meaning that not only will you have earned from upvotes, you will also have earned when the token's value goes up. Lastly, I'm counting with only one post per day. Posting more than once every few days like I do also helps reduce that number.
