Which way BTC and Steem going for next two months?
BTC has seen 25% growth in last couple of weeks. However, few alts such as EOS, BCH, LTC, BNB, DASH, DOGE have seen 80-100% growth.
On the other hand, Steem was 50 cents when BTC was $3800. Now BTC is $5000 but Steem is still 50 cents.
EOS is pumped by big announcement of future upgrades and Trump's administration's interest in EOS recently declared by Dan Larimer. It seems that @dan is not only a good coder but a shrewd marketer too. Justin Sun should be running after Premier, Xi Jinping.
Funnily, Elon Musk tweeted about DOGE as late April Joke on 2nd April. Probably he was not sleeping for days, then slept for 24 hours. DOGE got pumped to 30%. BCH is up more than 100% either it was too much down, therefore, a correction or, people correlate and missed Bitcoin Cash as Bitcoin.
More or less top 20 alt coins had significant gains in last couple of weeks.
Which way BTC, alts and Steem going?
I think BTC will have a pull back to $4500 to $4700 after strong run and settle there for a month or two. EOS will lose momentum and stable around $4 to $4.5. What goes up, goes down to reach the mean.
On the other hand, if BTC stays around $4.8K to $5.2K for couple weeks and MIRA update is released within this period, Steem may see a upward movement up to 0.00015 BTC. It may find its floor around 0.000125. Therefore, a 2019 high for Steem above 60 cents is quite possible.
Steem may soon get blessing from Trump administration? Since his ally Putin's pet project @rt-international has landed on Steem. Or, Mark Zuckerberg will curse Steem on Twitter fearing Facebook's demise on Steem's hand. May be Mackenzie Bezos will buy Steem with her new riches!
Jokes aside.
Steem is not catching volumes while other coins are seeing huge volumes. It could be that Steem is not widely traded in exchanges with large number of pairs similar to EOS, LTC, BCH even DOGE. Traders love coins with volumes and arbitrages. Steem is not yet there. Probably, it is still not developed yet, until full SMT. However, Steem is building is its own ecosystem. The developments is huuugeeee compared other fancy projects. It is like that a storm is building inside a balloon, it can bust anytime (e.g. sudden rise).
However, whatever the direction both BTC, Trump's favorite EOS or Zuckerberg's nemesis Steem goes, enjoy the ride. See you in the moon, sorry Jupiter's moon IO!

The fact that liquidity for Steem is improving and now even the SMTs are starting to find markets so that could lead to more developments for the ecosystem coming soon. I think it will be better times soon.

Both of these coins are worth hodling. Don't focus too much on their short term price movements. The key is to accumulate their physical quantities while they are still available to the common folks.
