Betterlife - The Diary Game | 26 September, 2024 | Day to visit the grocery store and great time with friends.
Hello everyone, I hope you're all doing well. Today, I'm going to share a diary entry about my wonderful day.
My mobile alarm woke me up early this morning. Lately, even though I go to bed early, I have trouble falling asleep, which makes it difficult to wake up in the morning. Anyway, after getting out of bed and freshening up I had my breakfast. Then, my mom told me she needed some groceries, so I grabbed a shopping list and went out.
Bhatiari market is the best place to buy groceries but it's a bit far, so I had to take a transportation. I found a local CNG from the highway, which was a much more comfortable ride to the market compared to public transportation. Once I reached the market, I first went to an agent banking shop.
Agent banking is now available everywhere, which is very convenient for customers. I like this system because I don't have to carry cash all the time. I withdrew the amount I needed from my bKash online wallet. Before that, I used a QR scanner to copy the agent's number, which is much easy than dialing so many numbers and there's also no risk of making a mistake.
bKash is a mobile financial service popular in Bangladesh.
After completing my transaction, I went to a grocery shop I know, as I had to buy quite a few items according to my list. However, sometimes I buy some items that are not on the list. There were various types of macaroni in front of the shop, which they had added as a new item to their store. Compared to buying packaged macaroni, buying it by the kilo gives a larger quantity and is also cheaper.
I bought two types of macaroni. Then I didn't stay there for too long, as I also had to go home with the groceries. I explained everything to my mother at home and went to our shop and stayed there until noon.
After lunch, I don't get much chance to take a nap anymore because it's getting late. Since it was almost time for the afternoon prayer, I went to the mosque and offered my Asr prayer. After returning home, I ate a new seasonal fruit.
The pomelo also known as a shaddock and from the family Rutaceae, is the largest citrus fruit, and the principal ancestor of the grapefruit.Wikipedia
This fruit is called Jambura, and in many places it's also called batawi lemon because its type is very similar to a lemon, only larger in size. The outer skin of the fruit is quite thick, so you have to peel it off with force. After peeling them, I mixed some salt with them because they taste a bit bitter.
Evening had fallen in no time. Now, the days pass by very quickly. In the evening, my friend called and invited me to meet them. We sat in a place and talked for a while. One of my friends suggested we eat something from a nearby food shop. I agreed as I had been out of the house for quite some time.
We ordered two plates of fushka and ate them together. After spending some more time with them, I returned home offered my night prayer, had dinner with my family, and went to sleep at the same time as usual.
