Hello friends. Hope you all are rocking. Lately while grading the posts of our community, I noticed something that is reducing the readability of user posts. So I think there should be a guideline post on this important topic.

Among the contents that users like to read the most on this platform are diary blogs, travel blogs, cooking, art, etc. An important element of all these blogs is the image of the post. But many users are doing some things wrong in picture selection for which their posts are not getting enough attention.

Many are using similar images and repeated images on their posts. There are some important things you need to keep in mind regarding image selection. It is a misconception that if you publish a post with a large number of pictures, it will be considered as a quality post. So you must be choosy about image selection.

First of all, don't use similar Images. If you want to present a scenario in your post, try to present that scenario through one or two picture instead of several pictures. If the scenario of your activities is on several topics, you should only present one or two pictures of the important scenario.

Not giving multiple pictures of the same scenario and an activity. Maybe you took a few photos in one scene, but that doesn't mean you have to publish all of them. Publish the best photo of the scene you took on your blog.

Secondly, don't use several similar images in one post. For example, if you are giving a picture of a garden, if you give a different picture of each angle of the garden, it will spoil the beauty of your post. I prefer to try to cover your entire view with one or two photos.

Maybe a few different similar pictures from different angles of your scene will make your post look bigger but readers will not find efficiency in reading your post. A reader always notices the highlighted points. So you should highlight the entire scenario with one or two images rather than a few similar images of any scenario.

Some tips for choosing pictures:

• ✅ Try to Avoid blurry, overexposed photos.

• ✅ Try to keep as much sharpness and details as possible in images.

• ✅ Try to Capture highlighted scenes as possible with perfect frame while taking photos.

হ্যালো স্টিমিট বন্ধুরা । আশা করছি আপনারা সবাই রকিং আছেন । ইদানিং কমিউনিটির পোস্ট গুলো গ্রেটিং করতে গিয়ে একটি বিষয়ে খেয়াল করলাম যেটি আপনাদের পোষ্টের রিডাবিলিটি কমিয়ে দিচ্ছে । তাই এই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ টপিকের উপর আপনাদের একটি গাইড লাইন পোস্ট দেওয়া উচিত বলে আমি মনে করি ।

এ প্লাটফর্মে যে কন্টেন্ট গুলো ইউজাররা সবচেয়ে বেশি পড়তে পছন্দ করে তার মধ্যে উল্লেখযোগ্য রয়েছে ডাইরি ব্লগ, ট্রাভেল ব্লগ, কুকিং ,আর্ট ইত্যাদি । এই সকল ব্লগ গুলোর একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ উপাদান হলো পোষ্টের ছবি । কিন্তু আপনারা ছবি সিলেকশন এর ব্যাপারে কিছু বিষয় ভুল করছেন যার জন্য আপনাদের পোস্টগুলো যথেষ্ট পরিমাণ কোয়ালিটি সম্পন্ন হচ্ছে না ।

আপনারা সিমিলার ছবি এবং রিপিটেড ছবি আপনাদের পোস্টে বেশি ব্যবহার করছে । ছবি সিলেকশনের ব্যাপারে আপনাদের কিছু গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয় খেয়াল রাখতে হবে। বেশি সংখ্যক ছবি দিয়ে পোস্ট পাবলিশ করলে যে সেটি কোয়ালিটি পোস্ট হিসেবে গণ্য হবে তা কিন্তু ভুল ধারণা । তাই ছবি সিলেকশনের ব্যাপারে আপনাকে অবশ্যই চুজি হতে হবে ।

প্রথমত সিমিলার ছবি ব্যবহার না করা । আপনার পোস্টে যদি আপনি কোন সিনারিও উপস্থাপন করতে চান তাহলে সেই সিনারিওটির কয়েকটি ছবি না দিয়ে একটি ছবির মাধ্যমে উপস্থাপন করার চেষ্টা করা । যদি আপনার এক্টিভিটিস এর সিনারি ও টি কয়েকটি বিষয়ের উপর হয় তাহলে আপনার উচিত শুধুমাত্র গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সিনিয়র ওটির একটি অথবা দুটি ছবির মাধ্যমে উপস্থাপন করা ।

একই সিনারিও এবং একটি একটিভিটিসের কয়েকটি ছবি না দেওয়া । হয়তো আপনি একটি দৃশ্যপটে কয়েকটি ছবি তুলেছেন তারমানে এই নয় যে আপনাকে সবগুলো ছবি পাবলিশ করতে হবে । আপনি দৃশ্যপটটির যতগুলো ছবি তুলেছেন তার মধ্যে বেস্ট ছবিটি আপনার ব্লগে পাবলিশ করুন ।

দ্বিতীয়তঃ একটি পোস্টে কয়েকটি সিমিলার ছবি ব্যবহার না করা । যেমন আপনি কোন বাগানের ছবি দিচ্ছেন তাই বলে আপনি বাগানটির প্রতিটি অ্যাঙ্গেলের আলাদা আলাদা ছবি দিলে সেটি আপনার পোষ্টের সৌন্দর্য নষ্ট করবে । আমি প্রেফার করি আপনার সম্পূর্ণ দৃশ্যপটটির একটি অথবা দুইটি ছবির মাধ্যমে কভার করার চেষ্টা করা ।

হয়তো আপনার দৃশ্যপটের বিভিন্ন আঙ্কেল থেকে কয়েকটি আলাদা আলাদা সিমিলার ছবি দিলে আপনার পোস্টটি অনেক বড় দেখাবে কিন্তু পাঠকরা আপনার পোস্টটি পড়ার ক্ষেত্রে এফিশিয়েন্সি খুঁজে পাবে না । একজন পাঠক সবসময় হাইলাইটেট পয়েন্ট গুলো খেয়াল করে । তাই আপনার উচিত যেকোনো দৃশ্যপটের সিমিলার কয়েকটি ছবি না দিয়ে একটি অথবা সর্বোচ্চ দুইটি ছবির মাধ্যমে পুরো দৃশ্যপটটি হাইলাইট করা ।

• ✅ ছবিতে যেনো যথেচ্ছ পরিমাণ সার্পনেস এবং ডিটেইলস থাকে

• ✅ ছবি তুলার সময় পারফেক্ট ফ্রেমে যতো বেশি সম্ভব হাইলাইটেট দৃশ্যপট কেপচার করা

হয়তো এই বিষয়গুলো আপনাদের আয়ত্ত করতে কিছুদিন সময় লাগবে । কিন্তু এই সকল বিষয়গুলো আপনার পোস্টের রিডাবিলিটি বৃদ্ধি করতে সাহায্য করবে । তাই সবসময় প্রাকটিস করতে থাকা । আশা করি এই গাইডলাইন পোস্টটি আপনাদের ‌উপকারে আসবে ।
