Hand Of Compassion (A Poem)

When someone reaches out to you,
Will you lend him a hand?
When the world is turning dark,
Can you be its light of hope?

Society's becoming crueler and cold,
Making the small and weak suffer.
If none dare make a difference,
The world will one day turned to dust.

War and conflicts abound,
Cries for mercy and peace resound.
The land scorched by bombs, soon
There will only be rubbles and ashes.

Maybe it's time we make a stand,
And let love and peace begin?
Time to make our voices be heard,
To stand dignified in life's stage.
