Plot
The Anime series tells the story of two ninth graders named Mashiro Moritaka and Takagi Akito who aspire to become a mangaka no 1 in Shounen Jack (in the real world Shounen Jump). Mashiro initially had no intention of becoming a mangaka, due to his uncle who died from exhaustion in making manga, but Takagi insisted on persuading Mashiro to cooperate to become a mangaka.
Takagi thought of a way for Mashiro to join him to become a mangaka, he also teased Mashiro by expressing love to Azuki Miho girl who liked by Mashiro, it turns out Miho also has feelings on Mashiro,
Mashiro was melted after meeting with Azuki Miho at home, Mashiro unconsciously expressed his feelings to Miho, and there was an agreement "If one of the manga serialization gets anime and Azuki Miho gets seiyu (voice) of the female main character, please Marry with me" that's the word out of Mashiro's mouth, and finally formed their mangaka team with the name of Ashirogi Muto pen, their life story starts from here.

Takagi is also the author of the manga team Ashirogi Muto together with Mashiro. Because of his intelligence and his ideas, he is also often asked for help by other mangaka in making manga. He is also the husband of Kaya Miyoshi.
- Azuki Miho
He is Mashiro's girlfriend and future wife and is the daughter of a woman beloved by his uncle Mashiro. Its shy and feminine. His goal to become famous seiyuu has been embedded since childhood. Since promising Mashiro, he started seriously in reaching his imipannya and started the way by following various auditions.

Azuki's close friend and husband from Takagi Akito. Its cheerful and warm atmosphere, but the mood is easily changed. Her love for Takagi is so strong that she is always easily jealous with anyone who deals with her husband.
- Nizuma Eiiji
Nizuma Eiiji is a rival of Ashirogi Mutou as a mangaka, but outside of mangaka they are close friends. Eiiji is also a genius boy in manga writing, so he has been ranked first in a weekly questionnaire of 13 weeks.

Akira Hattori is the editor of Ashirogi Muto, he includes a very classy editor and once held the Dragonball as his editor in the story. He also strongly supports Ashirogi Muto to be number one.
My opinion about this anime
If I think, in terms of story and high image of this anime is very qualified. The theme raised by the anime is also very make us (audience) very fascinated by the hard work of Ashirogi Muto in reaching their dreams.
One of the great messages I remember from this anime is:
"Make sure you believe in what you are doing. This is all the way you choose, just do not forget all the people who support you."
Assessment
Story: 8.5 / 10
