Are you wondering how I feel handing out votes after HF19 came in like a wrecking ball?

Wonder no more.

After HF19, I am now able to give a 100% upvote of about $10.20...This may not seem like much to anyone, but to me, this finally gives me the feeling that I am actually able to give back to the community - One post at a time! Now I just have to adapt to using my upvotes responsibly...

At this point I really cannot say what impact HF19 has on my account, being a minnow that I am. What I learned though through skimming various posts/comments as yours, is that we have to be more intelligent in giving away our upvotes as they diminish faster than before.

Question: How current are the stats on steemd.com steemdb.com or steemstats? I tried and it seemed to me that they are like 2/3 hours behind?

As a minnow with a lower amount of SP, you may not see any results with your vote. My wife, @uglysweater, can now give a $0.01 upvote, but she only has about 10SP more than you. Prior to this hardfork, she gave fractions of a cent when she gave an upvote.
What you will notice, however, is that your posts will most likely begin making more rewards, as larger minnows and dolphins can now give you much higher upvotes!

As far as how current the stats on these websites are, @jesta would be the one to ask about that - He is the creator of both websites.

@rigaronib, I was pleased that my voting power actually meant something after HF, though over the last few days I've noticed that minnow views have decreased due to a surge in the trending section. I thought i was excusing myself for the sudden lack of interest in my posts though an article by @aggroed confirmed my fears. Have you noticed this? I was interested in your most recent post about spammy comments, though realised the recent HF may have made it more difficult for minnows producing good content to be seen, thus increasing the volume of mediocre content to be trawled through. The dilution of good minnow content will reduce the value of the platform. Absolutely not excusing the annoying spam, but think HF may have made the problem worse?

Hmmm, I'm not sure, as I don't have any stats in front of me, but honestly I don't feel like the HF had anything to do with that. These spammy links have, imo, been caused by the huge influx of new users that are jumping over from normal social media thinking that they can instantly start making loads of money. What they don't understand is that this is not just any social media site, you have to work a lot harder here and you MUST engage other users (the correct way) to build a true following.

BUT!
