The Worst Chinglish I have Seen
As I said in an earlier Steemit post, searching for epic Chinglish is a past time among many English teachers in China. This is the worst I have found so far, and it's near the university I teach at. While I have never eaten here, I have looked at the menu -- it's mostly salad and noodles. I don't know what the "Jack's Sweet Cock" was referring to. Since then, somebody told the owner, and "sweet cock" has been scraped off the window.

I suspect maybe frog. Frog is 田鸡 in Chinese. 田by itself translate to farm and it sounds the same as 甜 which translate to sweet. 鸡 is chicken but I think cock (rooster) or hen are chicken. Maybe too many people involve in trying to translate 田鸡 by breaking it down. Just a theory though. :-)
I thought it might be rooster, too. I didn't see it on the menu, but I think there were some chicken dishes. Definitely didn't see frog on the menu, but my Chinese is really bad, and the menu was not in English. Thanks for the language tips! =)
interesting....
