Cartoonish at Dalin Temple

These are photos from Dalin Temple in eastern Changzhou -- near the city line with Wuxi. While there is a lot to see at this attraction, a place I keep returning to is the hall of luohans -- Buddhist saints if one were to draw a Christian parallel The hall is crammed with colorful statues, and each time I return here, I spot something new I hadn't seen before. The difference, though, between this and luohan I have seen at other temples is this: these look like three dimensional cartoon characters.
