Debbie Wasserman Schultz In Hot Water Again
I'm not a big fan of lawsuits, I think our society has become too litigious. Having said that, here's one I might learn to enjoy. It seems that Bernie Sanders' supporters want their money back and are taking Wasserman-Schultz and the DNC to court to get it.
The Democratic National Committee has a constitution that sets out a very clear set of rules and regulations as to how the organization is to behave during elections... primaries in particular. According to the rules set forth, the committee is to remain impartial when it comes to selecting the Democratic candidate for president. Harvard law expert Jared Beck has filed a class action suit on behalf of voters in 45 states against Wasserman-Schultz and the DNC for election fraud, stating that the impartiality clause has been violated.
An attorney for the DNC has stated that they have the right to select the candidate any way the committee sees fit. The attorney, Bruce Spiva, cites the days when candidates were selected in rooms full of cigar smoke and said that it was the prerogative to select the candidate that way if that's the way they saw fit. Typical of Democratic Party politics, Spiva argues that although the Article 5, Section 4 of the charter clearly states that the DNC must remain neutral, he goes on to say that it is "non-binding." In other words if a rule or law is inconvenient it must, therefore, be non-binding.
Although it seems that Beck and the Bernie supporters are unlikely to prevail, it will be interesting to see how this plays out in court. For some reason Hillary Clinton was not mentioned in the suit... Looks like attorney Beck wants to be around when the case goes to court.
What they are "supposed" to do, and what they do are two very different things.
You can't just go tell people that you are here to pit one group against another group to keep the country divided. You have to tell them that we are for the little man. But if you read either of the National Committees charters, you find that they were designed from the beginning as evil.

All you have to do is get rid of any sense of ethics or decency and become a Democrat!
