Healthy Food Recipes: Divine Buckwheat And Turkey Soup
Once long time ago my wife had a terrible hangover after some big party. All she wanted was to lay down so nobody would bother her. It happens perhaps once in a decade, not more often, but it was that rare case. So you would understand, a hot freshly cooked soup here is considered as a must for kids to eat every each day. I’m cooking since my teenage years, but I never cooked soup before that time. Since I had a child already, I had to figure out something and finally cooked a soup. My child (@richkid) tasted it and shouted “It’s divine, daddy!” (Can you imagine that?)
Having a good imagination, after that case my daughter once told everyone in her kindergarten that when we come home she will be playing with the toys, her mother will be watching TV and her father will be cooking a divine soup. Since that time I was considered the best dad out there. So, here it comes, a recipe of divine soup :D
Ingredients
- 1L water;
- 300g turkey fillet (might be unfrozen);
- 1 chopped onion;
- 1 grated carrot;
- 4 medium potatoes;
- 100g buckwheat;
- 1-2 tablespoons dill.
Cooking
Pour water into an average pot (1,5-2L) and boil it. Cut turkey fillet into small pieces (cubes, 3-4cm). Put turkey fillet into a boiling water, add finely chopped onion and grated carrots. Turn heat to average and cook for 20 minutes. Add buckwheat. In 10 minutes add chopped potatoes. Cook the soup until potatoes cooked (around 10-15 minutes, depends on how finely it was chopped).
Add dill and cook for 2 minutes more. Turn heat off and let it rest for 15 minutes. Can be served with sour cream.
Serve while hot.
ALWAYS ENJOY YOUR MEAL, BON APPETIT!

Ah yes, @richman. Soup is the elixir for health in such circumstances. This one does look divine - perfect when you need to eat something light but nourishing. I love the dill - I bet that adds just the right flavor.
Thank you very much for your comment!
This is really a light dish, no doubt here. And dill just adds the right flavor, indeed.
You are right about everything, dear lady :D

Ah this is similar to our ABC soup.
I'm intrigued... What's ABC soup?
Cheers!
ABC soup is mostly carrot, potato and onion. Meat is pork or chicken. I like tomato in it too but my wife like corn and these are the other ingredients sometimes. Why ABC? I heard 2 stories:
Here's a couple of recipes I found:
