Dan Larimer Asks Tough Questions About Ethereum

Hello everyone,

I recently came across this interesting video published back in April 2014 where Dan Larimer, founder of #Bitshares, asks Vitalik Buterin some tough questions about Ethereum. As you may know, Dan Larimer is one of the best, if not, the best block chain programmer out there. Therefore, Dan's insight on Vitalik's answers as to how #Ethereum works should capture our attention.

There are basically three questions Dan asked Vitalik Buterin:

1. About the scalability of Ethereum.
2. About the use of off-chains.
3. And how Ethereum is using the Proof of Work security model.

With all the problems that Ethereum is currently facing with scalability, speed, high fees, and their smart contracts, Dan was right-on in his analysis way back in April of 2014. Just a little over three years ago.
