Why We Make Excuses For Not Moving Forward When We Should Be!

in #motivation3 years ago

Do you have an excuse for not doing what you know you should? You are probably using the same excuse over again, making it harder for yourself to take initiative when the circumstances around you require it. It is time to stop making excuses and start acting on behalf of your true self. Begin doing what you know you are capable of, and believe in your own abilities.

An excuse is something you make in order to avoid doing what is required of you. If you are afraid to fail or feel guilty about failing, you will find it hard to do what you know you must do. You do not deserve to be in this situation. Instead of making this excuse, accept the fact that you are not good enough right now, and that there are things you must do in order to move ahead with your life. The next time a similar situation comes up, instead of making this excuse, accept the fact that you are not good enough right now and that you need to do what it takes to overcome the obstacles that you face. By making this decision, you will find that it is easier to take initiative, which will make things easier for you and your journey.

Growth happens when you are willing to commit yourself to growing yourself in every area of your life. If you are afraid of stepping out on faith and trying something new, you will find that it will be difficult for you to step into new opportunities. You may also fear failure, and it will be more difficult for you to take the necessary action to prevent us from progressing to our potential. Instead of making excuses for not doing what you know you should, be committed to doing all that you can to achieve your goals. This will help you prevent us from ever reaching a point where we are discouraged by our lack of progress.

When you are afraid to try something new, you may find that you avoid social situations because you are afraid that you will not be successful. Instead of making this excuse, accept the fact that you are not going to be a success at everything that you try. There will always be an element of trial and error involved. If you think that you will fail, you will. However, by committing yourself to improving one small attribute at a time, you will find that it is easier for you to take the necessary actions to succeed than it would have been if you had made a blanket excuse for not trying.

No matter how strong your convictions are, it is very easy to get wrapped up in the process of doing things rather than living in the process of doing them. Unfortunately, many people make the mistake of thinking that the only way they are going to move forward is by beating themselves up about making excuses, limiting their potential, and putting themselves down. Instead of doing these things, you should be committing yourself to moving forward by not giving yourself excuses, but instead making excuses for the process that you are taking. In other words, you should be committing yourself to growth by never giving yourself excuses to avoid growth.

The biggest problem that people have when it comes to getting done is that they let their excuses stop them from moving forward. By making excuses for why you cannot get something done, you are making yourself weak and pathetic. Instead of having a lame excuse like "I don't have enough time/my boss won't give me enough work/that I am not good enough/my deadline is today" you should be having an excuse for almost everything that you do. Instead of saying that you are busy because you are working, say that you are working on your final project for the day or the week, and that you will have it done soon.

Growth begins with you making yourself excuses for moving forward instead of living your life in the present. You cannot prevent us from doing things that we must do, but you can prevent us from doing those things that we should not be doing. If you learn how to prevent yourself from doing things that you are not supposed to then you will learn how to get yourself out of any personal development dead end.

The bottom line is that you have to decide on what your excuses are going to be. If you choose to make excuses for not doing anything then that is what you are going to do. If you choose to make excuses for doing what you know you should be doing then you will learn how to be strong enough to achieve your goals. So don t get stuck in a rut of repeating yourself over again. Get a good mentor who can teach you to be strong and get you out of that rut! If you are serious about personal development then I strongly recommend that you look into reading a book called "The 4 Pillars of Personal Development" by Anthony Robbins.
