How can you be successful if you are not happy with what you have? For many people this is a hard question to answer since we all have different definitions of success. When I asked my mother how she felt I could be successful, she said it was more like a living hell on earth. I wanted to find out what she meant by success and commit to making her happy.


You see, there is a difference between being successful and being happy. We all want to be successful but not everyone reaches their potential. There are some who succeed and some who do not. So how do you get to where you want to be and stay there? Keep reading to find out what it takes.

First you need to know that you have to choose to be happy. This is the most important step. You cannot go out and expect to be successful at something if you do not believe in yourself and your abilities to bring it to fruition.

Second you need to believe in yourself so that you are not afraid to take the necessary steps to become successful. You have to believe that you can and will succeed before you do anything else. Do not worry about failures or bumps in the road. Just be confident that over time you will reach your goal.

Third you need to make sure you believe in yourself so you do not procrastinate. Set goals for yourself and then go forward and accomplish them. Be consistent and diligent. If you think you are not going to be successful just set another goal and do not stop until you have reached it.

Fourth you need to have a plan of action and stick with it. It is easy to get off on a tangent and lose sight of your goals. You have to keep yourself motivated. I am not saying to just sit around and not do anything. That is not what I am talking about. What I am saying is you need to write down what you plan to do and keep it close to you.

Fifth you need to have a support system if you are going to make it in this industry. There is no one on this earth that has made it big without having a team behind them. Find some people to lean on that are also succeeding and try to learn from their mistakes. Make friends and talk to them all the time.

Sixth know when to quit and know when to fight. Quitting before you achieve success is the worst thing you can do because you will never be able to achieve anything. Fighting the fight and giving it your all makes you a better person and will help you achieve more success than you thought possible. Never give up!

Seventh stay focused on the end result. We all look at our goals differently. Some people see big dollar signs and think they can just quit any time they want. Stay focused on the end result. The difference between unsuccessful people and successful people is they know when enough is enough and they quit before they loose focus.

Eighth be grateful for everything that you currently have. Successful people know how lucky they are and live life to the fullest. They enjoy every minute of it. If you are not enjoying life, why should anyone else? I would rather have a mediocre lifestyle and be miserable than go out and have a great time.

Last but not least, create a commitment for yourself to never quit. Your mind will always be able to convince you that you will be good at something in the future. The only problem is that you don't know what that future could possibly be. It may be working on the Internet or in a real business.


Make your success commitment for today. The sky is the limit. You are completely responsible for your success. Follow through with your goal no matter what obstacles that may come up in your way.
